Stellar Blade: Weapon Core Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Stellar Blade, your attack power is directly linked to the level of your primary weapon, Blood Edge. To increase its damage, you must collect Weapon Cores. These are rare materials typically earned by defeating major bosses or by repairing Damaged Weapon Cores found in the open world.

The maximum weapon level in your first playthrough is Level 15. Because some bosses are optional and some cores are hidden behind specific side activities, tracking them down is mandatory if you want to be prepared for the final encounters. Unlike Body or Beta Cores, you only need one Weapon Core per upgrade level.

The vast majority of your Weapon Cores will come from defeating the Alpha and Elite Naytibas encountered during the main campaign. Each of these bosses is guaranteed to drop a core upon defeat.

In the semi-open world regions of the Wasteland and the Great Desert, you will find optional "Elite" versions of bosses you fought previously. These rematches drop Damaged Weapon Cores, which cannot be used immediately but can be traded for functional ones.

Once you have collected Damaged Weapon Cores, you must take them to D1G-g2r at the Scrap Yard in the Wasteland. To access his shop, you must first complete his side quest, Plan to Clean the Earth.

Always visit a Repair Console (found at Supply Camps or by talking to Lily) immediately after a boss fight to apply your new core. If you find yourself struggling with damage in the mid-game, head to the Great Desert or Wasteland to hunt the optional Elite Naytibas.

These "extra" levels can make the linear sections of Matrix 11 and Spire 4 more manageable. Alternatively, you can use our Stellar Blade maps to collect every Weapon Core our team has marked for your convenience.
